Petersburg, IN – Louis B. Duncan, 76, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Rev. James B. Duncan and Cora E. (Dennison) Torres.
Louis enjoyed spending his time fishing, singing and dancing. He loved helping others through physical therapy and he loved the Lord.
He is survived by his children, Darlene Duncan, Daniel Lewis Duncan (Tiffany) and Erica (Duncan) Gill; his grandchildren, Rajah Lemons, Khristian Duncan, Kiley Duncan and Kameron Duncan; his siblings, James Duncan, Jr., Kenneth Duncan, Yvonne Duncan, Victoria Jackson-Kennedy (Gene), Trycena Duncan-Shell (Bernard), Shawn Duncan-Smith and his step-mother, Lottie Ransom-Duncan.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Ronald King (Odessa), Angela King, Gail King and Juanita King.
His final resting place will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.

Hi! I know you don’t know me. I was Louis’s neighbor and he was a very dear friend of mine. I seen him on the day before his passing. He was suffering alot in his last weeks on this earth. He discussed the Bible to me alot and said he loved the Lord. I do also Both of our Dad’s were ministers. His suffering is over. My sympathy is with his family and friends.
