Marla Kay Dougan, 69, of Evansville, In, passed away on Sept. 30th after a battle with cancer. Marla was born Jan. 29th, 1954, to the late Jean Thomas Dougan and Juanita Miskell (Landrus).
Marla retired from Hanson Corporation in Princeton, IN. She loved going to church, spending time with others, and playing Yahtzee.
She was survived by her children Ron Hurt Jr, Shawn (Arika) Hurt, Richard Hurt, Melissa (Jeffrey) Caddick and by 16 grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Marla’s life will be held at a later date. Her family and friends will gather to honor her memories and stories of the wonderful times they shared with her.
Marla’s presence will forever be missed, but her legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Her family would like to thank all of the healthcare workers for providing love and care during her last few months.
