Martin Coleman 70 of Hazleton, passed away December 20, 2023.
Marty was born on January 30, 1953, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to his parents Joan Cox and Robert Coleman who proceed him in death. His stepfather Walter Cox also proceeds him.
He was a loving husband to Laura for 29 years and a devoted father to his Girls, Krista Hanks (Andy), Rebekah Coleman (Jeff) and Makenna Coleman. Marty also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Talan, Ellison, Lynden, Jonas, and Aryanna.
He is also survived by his brother Bruce Coleman (Pam) of Lake Martin Alabama and his Dog Hayley.
Marty loved life and had a vibrant personality. He worked hard and enjoyed his free time, especially traveling and camping in his Travel Trailer.
Marty’s faith in Jesus was an important part of his life, and he was honored to serve as a Difference maker in his church and in the lives of his family and others around him.
Marty attended Vincennes University graduating with a Degree in Tool and Die. He had a successful career, as a Coal Miner working for 23 years at Kings Station and Wabash Mines as a member of UMWA Local 1791. After returning to college at age 42, Marty worked at Rexam Closures Tool and Die.
Marty’s hobbies included traveling, camping, hunting, and 4-wheeling. He enjoyed exploring the great outdoors and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. His loved spending Summers at Prides Creek Park.

Marty’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His loving spirit, dedication to his family, and zest for life will be cherished forever. May he rest in peace.
