Mary Ann Evitts (Krock), died Thursday the 25th of April in the company of family after a long battle with dementia.
Born in 1945 in Evansville. Mary Ann was an avid cook and cake decorator; working previously at Benny’s BBQ, and Schnucks as Salad Bar Manager until her retirement.
Mary Ann loved her time with family and friends enjoying good food and good times. Plain spoken and direct to the point, and always ready to help when needed.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Ed Evitts; daughters and son-in-law’s Lisa and Bryan Fisher, Sherri and Mike Hofmann; sisters and brother-in-law’s Jerrie and Bobby Hubbard, Rita and Wesley Musgrave; brother David Krock; sister-in-law Kristi Krock; brother and sister-in-law’s Christine and Sonny Pfingston, Faye Stone, Patricia and Dave Goodwin, Sharon and Steve Riley, Dorothy Pease; sister and brother-in-law in heart Martene and Ronnie McGinnis; grandchildren (5), Shawn Stearns, Kris and Jordan Fisher, Jason Fisher and wife Kimberly, Jennifer Cohoon and husband Ben; great grandchildren (11), Kiersten, Camren Stearns and their mother, Stephanie Stearns (Linn), Lauren and Laila Sanders, Bailee and Mason Fisher, Katelynn and Brooklyn Cohoon, Brayden and Wyatt Fisher, and Kinsley Fisher; and her beloved dogs Tobi and Sophia.
Mary Ann was proceeded in death by parents, Riley and Mary Krock; brother, Gary Krock; and sister, Debbie Konopka; brother-in-law’s, Syl Evitts, Grady Harper, and Randy Harper.
