Boonville, IN – Michael Anthony Hape, 77, of Boonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on May 13, 1943 in Indiana to the late Maurice and Mable (Bentley) Hape.
Michael was an ironworker and belonged to the Teamsters Local #103 as a lifetime member. He was a skillful marksman at local spotshoots and enjoyed watching Western films with a nice cold drink and a pile of dachshunds in his lap. Though he now leaves this world, he would gladly wish the ones he loved “happy trails.”
He is survived by his wife, Mary (McCoy) Hape; children, Robin Hape (Connie), Michael Hape (Missy) and Laura Brown; grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Hunter, Jade, Chris Jr., Kristin, Leiha, Jake, Brittany and many great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Hape.
A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.
