Michael “Mike” Buntin, 64, of Ferdinand, IN passed away Thursday, August 12th in his home with his family by his side. He owned and operated Ebert’s Catering with his wife for 18 years and worked in the automotive industry as a warranty specialist for about 10 years after that. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed going to church, being with his family and walking with his dog, Leela.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Buntin, his son, Matthew Buntin and his significant other, Ashley of Zionsville, IN. His daughter, Whitney Buntin of Irvington, IN. His six brothers and sisters, Allen Buntin (Brighton, MI), Cheryl Buntin (Nashville, TN), Patrick Buntin (Owensboro, KY), Kathy Herndon (Bowling Green, KY), Karen Smith (Bowling Green, KY), and Phillip Buntin (Nashville, TN).
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Harold and Dorothy Buntin.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 15th at Lincoln State Park.
