So many fond memories of my beautiful best friend from USI… we were inseparable for many years… we laughed and cried together and helped each other through life’s obstacles we faced. Even though some of those choices put distance between our lives, we could always pick up where we left off no matter how much time had passed.
I spent many hours in the little yellow house where she had lived in town and many more hours in the house next door when she moved there. When Will was born, my mom had a daycare, and Will started going there when Nicole went back to work. Soon after came Claire… to me, the spitting image of Nicole 💞 she would bring Claire over to swim in the pool at the apartment complex I lived. She thought since she was now a mom of two that she shouldn’t wear a two piece bathing suit. I gave her one to wear that was mom approved and she seemed so self conscious… something I had never seen in her… I told her she was beautiful as always and to stop that kind of thinking! I was always honest with her and she knew that. The confidence came back in a blink and away we were in the pool.
She loved animals just as much as I do and was an amazing cook – I loved when she made lasagna and had to have the recipe! It is still my favorite! I think I’m going to make that dish… it always reminds me of her and all our fun times. Always smiling… going to miss my wonderful longtime friend. Love you big… please keep my furbabies 🐾 company till it’s time for me to visit heaven.
Tears now fall but my heart warms knowing where we will meet again one day… 💞 I know I am a better person to have known you…
