Nolan Phillips, 76, of Hazelton, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown in Evansville.
Nolan was born January 12, 1948 to George and Wilma (Miller) Phillips. He worked on his father’s farm until he got old enough to start hauling the harvest grains. From that point, he hauled harvests for local farmers, then later became a mechanic, working at several dealerships and auto shops in Princeton.
He is survived by his wife Carole; step-children Tina (Terry) Odom, Rick Davis, and Mary Davis; his former wife Judy and sons Steven and Tony Phillips, daughter Manda Carey and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his brother Rollin, and his son Ryan. A private memorial service will be held and his ashes scattered at a later date.
