Boonville, IN – Norma Jean (Baker) Boardman, 93, of Boonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Woodmont Nursing Home in Boonville. She was born on July 31, 1928 in Boonville, Indiana to the late Earl and Eithel (Brown) Baker.
Norma was talented in arts and crafts, often making floral arrangements. She was also a skilled seamstress and made clothing for friends and family. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids as well as travelling.
She is survived by her son, Greg Boardman (Terrigene); her grandchildren, Jason Stogner (Patty), Jana Day (Scott), Justin Boardman (Jenny) and Danielle Skelton (Seth); her great grandchildren, Harley Stogner, Hunter Day, Katelyn Day, Brayden Day, Ryder Day, Adam Boardman, Chris Boardman, Eric Boardman, Norah Skelton, Ezra Skelton and Elise Skelton.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell Boardman; her son, Kenneth Boardman and her siblings, Virginia Strahle and Frank Baker.
A private celebration of Norma’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Cancer based charity of choice.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.

I was blessed to know many in Norma’s family. I worked with Norma at the Warrick County Clerk’s office. She knew I loved the movie “E.T.” and one morning I found the cutest E.T. on my desk that she had made for me. She had a great personality and it was a joy to work with her.
