Evansville – Randall (Randy) Demarest, 65, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home. Randy was born in Evansville, Indiana to the late Randall Demarest and Renita Demarest (Brooks). He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. His favorite hobbies included fishing, exercising, and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. He was happy helping others, working outside, and riding his bike.
He is survived by his fiance, Kristie Kirsch; daughter, Amanda Phillips (Jeremy); 3 grandchildren, Nate, Benny, and, Demi Phillips; mother, Renita Demarest; 2 sisters, Patti Shade (Rick) and Beth Mortis (Don Buse); and many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father and beloved 16 year old dog, Roxie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Howell General Baptist Church, 1520 Delmar Ave., Evansville, IN 47712 officiated by Terry Gamblin. Friends may visit with family from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate and comforting care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association at als.org.
