Reed M. Faith, 80, of Winslow, Indiana passed away July 17, 2024, from complications due to a broken neck. He was born July 22, 1943, to Reed L. and Hildred Faith.
He worked at Glass Specialty as Manager, at Squaw Creek Mine as a welder and heavy equipment operator and also out of the Operating engineers Local 118. Reed also owned the Red Fox Night Club, The Headhunter Archery and Sports shop and the Texaco gas station, all located in Chandler, Indiana. He was an expert welder who could design and build anything out of either steel or wood and flipped houses after his retirement.
Reed was an avid archer who won many local, regional and state competitions. He loved hunting, with bear being his all-time favorite and elk coming in a close second. He was a pilot and owned his own plane- a Beechcraft Musketeer with dual controls. Reed loved horses and riding but unfortunately that was short-lived. He most enjoyed family and throwing big parties for friends and family. He cooked, fished, worked in his shop and repaired, rebuilt and painted trucks and even airplanes. Reed once worked on Marcia Yockey’s plane. He loved to draw and sketch and was offered a job on Time magazine straight out of high school which he turned down.
Reed is preceded in death by his parents; siblings James and Gloria, who both died in infancy; stepmother Barb Faith; and step siblings Donnie Petry and Joyce (Gay) Englert.
He is survived by his wife and companion of 34 years Patricia (Barron) Faith; daughter Michelle (Bobby) Hodges; son Reed Geoffrey Faith; Stepson Craig Wargel; grandchildren Brandtley, Brockton, Barret, Reed, Cody, Olivia, Aiden and Easton; and stepsister Kathy (Steve) Buschkoetter.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family . Mike was a great man that owned a room when he walked into it. I’ve known him since I was a kid and he always did anything he could to help anyone . Truly a generational man they don’t make them like that anymore !
Peggy Skelton says
Great man.
Love and prayers
