Samuel Junior Fleeger, age 93, of Lamar, Indiana. passed away in the comfort of his home, after a very full and adventurous life.
He was a simple man, that never met a stranger. He had wealth, not in materialistic way, but in the dedication and love he gave to his family. He was always thoughtful and giving to those in need.
He was retired after 30 years from LTV Steel, as a Forman and Union representative. He also worked for SIRS for a brief stent, from the age of 87 to 91. He volunteered, for the Dale Fall Fest, for many years cooking Pork chops. Sam, was well known and like by many in his community. Everyone loved his stories of his life experiences and many found, he was a Man cut from a different cloth.
Sam has spent the last 26 years, dedicated to his daughter, Tiffany and her three children Whitley, Aeon and Simon. He loved being able to be a part of their everyday life and knew he was needed and belonged. He was so loved and will be deeply missed.
Sam was preceded in death, by 16 siblings, and his parents and one Grand Child Chandra.
He is survived by his children; Daughters, Deborah and Tiffany and Sons, Jeffery and John.
His 9 grandchildren, Jason, Courtney, Shaun, Jonah, Matthew, Whitley, Aeon, Georgia, and Simon.
In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation to Tiffany Held, for the Benefit of The Sam I Am Fund at the Spencer County Bank. This is a memorial fund, that will be given to the Dale Fall Fest committee to be used and dedicated in his memory.
