Sarah Mongesku, 47, of Evansville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, after a long illness.
Sarah was an avid gardener and could grow any outdoor plants into prize winning blooms, as well as landscaping them in the most perfect way and making it look easy.
She held two degrees in Medical Assistant and Cosmetology. Her proudest and most beloved achievements were her daughter, Olivia Mongesku and son, Adrian Garrett.
Also surviving are her parents, William Mongesku and Penny Barrow Mongesku, her mother and devoted caretaker. Sarah is also survived by her sister Andrea (Bryan) Beasley; brothers William (Sherry) Mongesku and Jon Mongesku; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She will be loved and live forever in our hearts.
Fly high and be free our precious angel, until we meet again.
The family would ask for privacy at this time, to mourn together.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IU Methodist Neurology Science Dept., 315 W. 15th St, Suite 3200, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

I am heart broken learning about the loss of Sarah. We spent a lot of time together when we were young. Life got in the way but she was thought about a lot. I have so many fun memories with Sarah, notes we passed in high school, time spend with the whole family! I am sure I added to some of the grey hair penny and Bill have now. She will always have a special place in my heart! RIP my sweet friend ❤️❤️❤️
