Evansville, IN – We regret announcing the passing of Sharon Ann Daniels, 78, of Evansville, IN. She left us while under Hospice care in Evansville while surrounded by family on November 10, 2022, after a prolonged battle with cancer and is now at rest.
Born on June 14, 1944, she grew up in Toledo, OH, graduating from Woodward High School in 1961. She had four children to whom she dedicated her lifetime to. She worked as a telephone operator in Toledo prior to marrying Lowell (a career soldier) in 1962. She accompanied him on numerous assignments: three tours to Germany, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, Virginia, Okinawa, Kansas and more, however, the marriage failed in the eighties. During her lifetime she also worked for McCall’s Patterns and as a school secretary. A master in the kitchen, coupled with her resourcefulness and creativity skills that still astonish the children today.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Grace Fink. She is survived by her sister Caroline Toth, her four children Bryan, Kevin (Viktoriya), Dawn Phillips (Christopher) and Shawn as well as her 7 grandchildren Ciara, Ashton, Destiny, Denver, Cassondra, Zachariah and Jesse.
Her ashes will be scattered in Toledo and Oregon, Ohio by her family per her request.
She will be forever loved and remembered.
Simple Cremation Evansville is entrusted with care.

I was sad to learn of Sharon’s passing. I had the privilege of being a friend of Sharon’s in junior high and high school while living in Point Place. Sharon was a wonderful person, kind, caring and she was also the quiet one in our group. We all graduated from Woodward High School in 1962 and unfortunately after high school we went our own ways. I tried to find Sharon for our reunions but was unable to locate her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.
