Evansville, IN – Sherry Lynn (Fowler) Price, 67, of Evansville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 2, 1953 to the late Roy and Margaret (Rickman) Fowler.
Sherry was a talented and skillful musician and instrumentalist, for which she received her prized Orion award and later taught flute lessons to her own students. She also very much loved to sing, especially the Moody Blues. She was a member of the Methodist Temple in Evansville, Indiana and worked for 25 years at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Sherry also loved to travel to Florida to spend time on the beach and payed many visits to Disney World. She enjoyed reading and watching movies, but most of all spent her life loving her family and her cats.
She is survived by her son, Eric Price (Lori); grandchildren, Thomas Price and Andrew Metcalf; her triplet siblings, Scott Fowler, Shannon Sullenger (Steve) and Stacey Davis as well as her brother, Steve Fowler (Barb); sisters in law, Stephanie Schneider and Allison Price (Tracy) as well as several nieces and nephews and a very dear and life-long friend, Barb Work.
Sherry is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Hal Price.
A private celebration of Sherry’s life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in honor of Sherry.
