Tanahmerah (Russelburg) Terrell
Tanah was born on November 22, 1950 to parents, Charles and Ida Russelburg (Sellers). With Tanah’s faith in the Lord we know that heaven gained another angel Monday, November 25, 2024.
Tanah retired from Shoe Carnival after 28yrs as an Executive Assistant. In so many ways Tanah spent her life wanting to help those she cared the most about. With a heart of gold, she gave endlessly.
She loved family gatherings and get togethers, in her home everyone was welcome. Always up for a trip here or there or just a “drive about” on a sunny day. She enjoyed adventure and life. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother her family was the center of her world. She will be tremendously missed.
Tanah is survived by her son, Eric Summers and daughter, Kristi Koberstein; granddaughters, Kaylee, Kendall and Kyla; great grandchildren, Kaedyn, Kalilah and Kashton; sisters, Diana Herron and Tracee Griggs; nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Salem Church of Darmstadt. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM.

Our deepest sympathy. She was always happy and healthy and we were in disbelief that she had passed. She will be missed. Love you guys.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family of Tanah. I met Tanah and worked with her through Shoe Carnival. I was a Manager with the Drury Hotels. We made sure her Shoe Carnival representatives had service from the airport and great hotel accommodations. Many fond memories of our conversations where we both were doing a great service for our companies. So glad to hear she had a strong relationship with her God. RIP and thank you for your kindness Tanah. Prayers for her family.

Really sad to see another bright star dim from the Bosse class of ’68. Tanah was truly one of the brightest stars.
Tanah May you rest in Peace as you join so many other class mates that have already left us to soon.
