First friends are unforgettable. We were just that. We did everything together for the first 8 years of my life. As my mother said, “You thought he was your brother and didn’t know the difference”. I can remember Thomas like it was today and remember all the good times. Our family moved away and we grew apart, but the memories and bond we developed never will go away. I am deeply saddened and heartbroken. I will always be his friend and buddy, and we will meet again. I think of him often and flashes of our time together doesn’t fade from memory—thank you Thomas.
