Wadesville, IN – William “Bill” Kercher, Wadesville, IN age 79 passed away on May 28, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born on July 9, 1942 in Evansville, IN to August & Ester Kercher. He took pride in his work in the construction and auto industries. Bill had a love for gardening and fishing. He enjoyed spending his time outside, especially tending to his pond and feeding his fish. His favorite sports were Nascar & Professional Wrestling. Bill’s greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with them and spoiling his dog Macho.
Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years Sharon Kercher, daughter Billie Forston (Ron), two granddaughters Tara Forston (Kevin) & Shelby Forston (Dakota), brother Earl Kercher, sister Betty Sanders, one niece, and three nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Gus & Ester and sister Helen Krietemeyer.
Bill’s family would like to thank Dr. Amy Braden, Dr. Lee, and the Deaconess Infusion Center & Hospice for providing exceptional and compassionate care. His family would also like to extend a special thank you to family friends Charlie Reese Sr., Eric & Teresa, Bill Motz, and Jeanie Barnes. A private service will be held for family.
