McLeansboro, IL – William Wesley Neal, 70, of McLeansboro, Illinois, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 11:15 am on January 20, 2023 at Midtown Deaconess in Evansville, IN surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Jan 30, 1952 in Mt Vernon, IL to the late Harry and Nada (Ray) Neal.
Wesley is survived by his daughter, Shanna Aydt and husband Dave of McLeansboro, IL… son, Jacob Neal and wife Amanda of Bluford, IL… granddaughter Peyton Aydt of Cape Girardeau, Mo and grandson Abram Aydt of McLeansboro, IL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brother, Wendell Ray Neal.
Wesley grew up with a love for arrowheads, and made his childhood dream come true by becoming an Archeologist, graduating from SIU with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. Wesley also attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo and was of the Pentecostal Faith. He had a wonderful gift of playing the piano, playing and singing for his Lord. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
There will be no public visitation.
